This program was set up in the fall of 2005 by the local Calgary Admin of Hockey North America. To help teams attend the National Finals for Hockey North America.
Team are given the amount of cards they want. Fill up at Husky/Mohawk and show your card when paying for your purchase. You can't use the quick pay or pay at the pumps to get credit for Hockey North America, you'll need to go into the store to pay.
You don't have to limit your purchases to gasoline only.
All purchases count except for smokes and lotto tickets.
How the program works:
Fill up at Husky or Mohawk gas stations.
Show your Hockey North America Gas Card when paying for your purchases.
2% of all sales go into a pool set up for Hockey North America.
Every quarter, they cut us a cheque. We get a detailed print out of the purchases made by the teams of Hockey North America. We then track which teams are participating in the program.
How teams will split the money:
50% is split among the teams attending the Nationals
50% is split among the teams not attending the Nationals.
IF YOUR TEAM DOES NOT PARTICIPATE YOUR TEAM WILL GET NOTHING.
It's free money for buying gas. You've got to get your gasoline somewhere, why not get free money for your team.
Only Hockey North America teams will get FREE MONEY from this program!!!
